First of all thanks for checking out my page and showing an interest. My name is Matt Goodhand and I’m based in the UK most of the time. If I’m not here then I’m in Thailand where I have a nice condo in Bangkok. I’ve been earning a living online now for about 2 years at the time of writing and the only thing I wish, is that I had discovered Internet/Affiliate marketing sooner!

When I was 22 I traveled through most of SE Asia and actually ended up living in Thailand and teaching English for about 10 years! I had a great time teaching but if I’d been building my websites back then I’d be a multi millionaire by now! The stupid thing was that I already new how some html back then and built a website for my dad’s business. I even had an Adsense account but I just didn’t have any idea that you could actually make more than enough money from Google Adsense to live on!!

After I moved back to England with my girlfriend I thought I would train to be a plumber! Thankfully I didn’t make the college course and was left to find something else to do. That’s when I decided to start a dating website! It never took of but it was the first step on my journey of earning a full time living online.

Now I have quite a few different websites. Some are niche sites and some are big authority sites. They all rely on SEO for traffic and they are all monetized in various different ways.

My favorite monetization method is Google Adsense. You can just put Adsense on anything and earn some money. But you can earn a load of cash from it if you have high paying keywords. My favorite thing about Adsense is that you actually see the money coming in all day as it updates in real time. Because I’m in the UK and most of my websites target the US, the Adsense earnings creep up throughout the day and then start accelerating after 5pm when America wakes up. Nearly half my earnings come in while I’m asleep so as you can expect the first thing I do in the morning is grab my phone and check what I earned through the night!

ClickBank and Plimus are 2 other ways I like to monetize my sites as far as information products go. For physical goods Amazon and eBay both have decent affiliate programs that you can join.

This month has been disappointing though as Google Panda has hit some of my big earning sites. Still, I’m earning more than the majority of my friends and I don’t even have to leave the house to do it!

Making money online is more than a job though, it’s a way of life and it’s never far from my thoughts even when I’m on the golf course!

This is the information age and anyone can make a living online if you are willing to work at it!
